First things first...
I unboxed everything and took apart a lot of stuff.... Like quite a lot. Some ive kept in a box marked things to donate to the bin and some in a box marked "YAY things i can still use...
Next Up was the digital stuff... Using some pre made R2 3D models and the funny mesurements from the Scott R2 unit i set about making CAD/CAM files for everything i would need to laser cut, 3D print, Plasma Cut or CNC Mill.
Then It was a waiting game to get on the Laser cutter. Its been fully booked at work for 3 weeks now so Ive mostly been doing overtime or detail finishing parts of the R2 that dont require rebuilding.
But this weekend I was given a 4hr laser cutting slot!!!
^^ Thats how we defend our 4 Hour laser cutting slot HAHA, Dont worry its a prop!!
So with all the laser cutting done, its glueing and screwing time.....
